Iowa Educators Consortium (IEC), www.iec-ia.org
The Iowa Educators Consortium, IEC, is an initiative of the Iowa Area Education Agencies. Iowa AEAs formed the IEC as an independent, tax-exempt, nonprofit institution supporting the mission of the Area Education Agencies. The primary function of the IEC is to provide a voluntary purchasing program for K-12 schools by bringing all AEA statewide school purchasing programs under one legal umbrella and one fiscal management group. IEC purchases allow schools to take advantage of aggressive pricing based on the purchasing volume of many Iowa schools.
In addition to aggressive pricing, the IEC frees valuable LEA staff time in researching and procuring products. Advisory committees work with vendors, manufacturers, product reviews and product literature to determine the best product/cost value for schools. The IEC offers purchasing programs in the areas listed to the left. The IEC self-supported by a minimal administrative fee already built into the pricing and paid by the vendors.

Amerikit Technology Solutions (ATS) is a Dell Certified Partner, reseller, and warranty depot repair facility providing sales, service, and support on the full line of Dell products. ATS is providing discounts ranging from 2% to 13.25% off of list price on Dell Commercial net books, laptops, desktops, servers, and storage solutions. How to Obtain a Quote
1. Email your configuration requirements to Dell.IEC@amerikitsolutions.com or call 605-422-1670 ext. DELL (3355) to discuss your configuration needs.
2. A quote with the DOL outlined above or better will be returned from Amerikit Technology Solutions (ATS).
- Additional ATS services such as asset tagging, hard drive imaging, 1 to 1 student laptop programs, and “managed green deployments” are also available and can be added to the DOL quote.
- End user customer specific billing and shipping information is required to receive a quote.
