HDW and SW Install
Amerikit has access to over 4000 technicians across the country to assist with the onsite installation of your desktops, servers and networking equipment. Our onsite installation service provides a complete turnkey solution to get your equipment up and running without diverting your internal resources.
Standard Hardware Installation Services include:
• Unpacking of equipment and connection of power and network.
• Initial power-on tests to ensure equipment is functioning.
• Installation of various hardware components.
• Integration with existing network and systems.
• New cabling runs or upgrades to existing cabling.
• Configuration of equipments to meet your organization's needs. |

PC Installation Service
• Verify receipt and condition of all boxes and components, according to the shipping list
• Unpack the systems and components at end-users work space
• Verify product service tag numbers (serial number) match shipping list
• Check and verify the external condition of the systems
• Set-up CPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse
• Re-connect identified peripheral devices i.e. scanner, printer etc.
• Connect to existing network and verify connectivity
• Perform final systems test
• De-install existing system components
• Remove excess packaging material, move to on-site, central location
• Pack existing system components in new Gateway system packaging or in Customer-provided boxes/ packaging
• Move existing system to central location within the Customers installation site
Server Installation
• Verify receipt and condition of all boxes and components according to the shipping list
• Unpack the Server(s) and system components at the designated end-user location
• Perform external quality inspection of the Server(s) and system components
• Install and connection of the Server(s), keyboard, mouse and one monitor.
• Perform “boot verification”, entry of license number on initial boot screen, and notation of any issues with the system during normal startup procedure
• Removal of the packing materials and boxes (unless otherwise directed by the Customer) and place them at the Customer designated place for trash pick-up.
Onsite Repair
Customer Requirements:
•Customer is responsible to back up all data or files before installer arrives.
•Customer must provide full access to computers and peripherals
•Customer must have access to all rooms in the residence requiring service
•Customer must be an adult 18 years or older while all services are performed
•Customer must provide a safe working area.

A site survey is the first step in finding out what hardware, software, peripherals, and services are required in order to accomplish your technology initiative. For complex installations our technicians will go to your location to do a complete site survey so we can provide proper recommendations. |

Disposal
| If you are stockpiling old equipment and its taking up to much closet space, Amerikit's Disposal Service can help remove this equipment. We can palletize, shrink-warp, and transport the equipment from your location. We accept desktops, notebooks, servers, networking equipment and associated peripherals. If you are refreshing old equipment, closing or relocationg sites, or have some old equipment just lying around give us a call to find out how we can help. |
